Role

Our role is to streamline the design workflow by providing an intuitive tool that effortlessly converts web pages into editable Figma designs. By combining the power of a Chrome extension and a Figma plugin, we enable designers to extract real-world web elements and repurpose them for prototyping, iteration, or redesign. Our mission is simple: empower designers, accelerate creativity, and remove unnecessary friction in the design-to-development process.

Challenge

One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that the conversion process was both accurate and efficient. Web pages are built with complex structures, styles, and responsive elements that don’t always translate easily into design tools. We needed a solution that could capture web layouts precisely while keeping them editable within Figma—without compromising on quality, flexibility, or usability.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we developed a two-part system:

• A Chrome extension that captures entire web pages or specific sections, allowing users to download them as structured design files.

• A Figma plugin that takes the captured file and converts it into fully editable Figma components, including text, images, and styles—ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and preserving design integrity.

By combining smart automation with an easy-to-use workflow, HTML to Figma sets a new standard for web-to-design conversion, making it easier than ever for designers to work with live web assets.
